As a smart friend said last night, Joe Biden has spent his entire life trying to succeed in presidential politics, the Fox News host chortled, and now he has: Too bad hes not there to enjoy it. Pretty funny.
2020 is suddenly becoming the Dementia Campaign.
President Donald Trumps own public blunderssaying that his father was born in Germany when it was really his grandfather or referring to Apple CEO Tim Cook as Tim Applehave prompted commentary throughout his term questioning whether his cognitive faculties are deteriorating.
Trumpseemingly indifferent to the glass-houses maximin recent days has upped the ante in what is becoming the senility sweepstakes.
Why Nancy Pelosis Teeth And Mouth Are Being Discussed After Sotu
Nancy Pelosi is yet again being targeted by trolls after Joe Bidens State of the Union address.
The democratic speaker sat alongside Vice President Kamala Harris during the speech. They became the first two women to be seated behind the President during SOTU.
But, people seem to be more bothered about her mouth as some have pointed out that Nancy was busy fixing her teeth during the session.

As Nancy Pelosi sits on her duff with the faux impeachment thingy shoved into a desk drawer, she seems to have become more delusional.
I have come to believe shes certain the title, Speaker of the House, makes her Queen Bee of the World, and President Donald Trump is an unruly child to discipline weekly. Im not quite sure her condition is intemperance or possibly that dementia has crept into her skull, but I, for one, am tired of her petulant behavior.
Her spanking of the president, this week, is over the drone strike kill of Iran Gen. Qassem Suleimani. Iraqi Populist Mobilization Forces leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis also was exterminated. This was said to have been in retaliation of the attacks of the U.S. Embassy in Iraq, although Suleimani was the leader of the Quds Forces, a terrorist organization responsible for the deaths of nearly 600 Americans. Muhandis PMF is an Iraqi organization composed of 40 militias.
And the Democrats have a problem with their deaths?
To repeat, one is a top terrorist general from Iran, and the other a leader of Iraqi militias, two neighboring countries, together in the same vehicle. I bet they werent talking about the Packers chances of making the Super Bowl. One has to wonder what those two were doing together in the first place, but as you know, Im from Chebanse. It seems to me, the countries comprising the Middle East have a testosterone surplus that overrules brain cells. Theyve been killing each other for centuries.
Will Nancy Pelosi Retire At The End Of This Term And If So Who Will Take Her Place
Some observers believe passage of the reconciliation bill would be a fitting coda to her decades-long political career
Amid Democrats contentious negotiations over the bipartisan infrastructure bill and the reconciliation package, the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, was able to distract Capitol Hill reporters for a few minutes with her use of a certain C-word.
I just told members of my leadership that the reconciliation bill was a culmination of my service in Congress because it was about the children, the Democratic speaker said at a press conference late last month.
Moments after Pelosi made the comment, a reporter noted that culmination often points to the end of an experience. Get out of here, Pelosi said to laughs from other reporters.
The exchange exemplified Pelosis other comments about her potential retirement: a hint, chased with a heavy dose of uncertainty. Despite her previous promises to fellow House Democrats, it remains unclear whether Pelosi will step down as speaker at the end of this term.
But one thing is certain: whenever Pelosi does decide to call it quits, her departure will mark the end of a history-making career for the first woman ever to serve as House speaker, as well as the beginning of a new era in Democratic politics.
Pelosi has served as the top Democrat in the House of Representatives for nearly 20 years, and she has given some indications that this term may be her last.

House speaker Nancy Pelosi met with Pope Francis and received communion from a priest during a papal mass in Rome.
ROME – U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with Pope Francis on Wednesday and received Communion during a papal Mass in St. Peters Basilica, despite her position in support of abortion rights.
Pelosi attended the morning Mass marking the feasts of St. Peter and St. Paul, during which Francis bestowed the woolen pallium stole on newly consecrated archbishops. She was seated in a VIP diplomatic section of the basilica and received Communion along with the rest of the congregants.
She was seated next to her husband, Paul Pelosi, 82, who was charged last week with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence in Napa County.
Pope Francis seldom distributes Communion, but he did give Pelosi a blessing.
Pelosis home archbishop, San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, has said he will no longer allow her to receive the sacrament in his archdiocese because of her support for abortion rights. Cordileone, a conservative, has said Pelosi must either repudiate her support for abortion or stop speaking publicly of her Catholic faith.
Pelosi has done neither.

The evidence is building that President Joe Biden isnt the only Democrat Americans should be worried about when it comes to how things are working upstairs.
When House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took to the podium on Thursday for her weekly news conference, she launched into a stream of incoherence that would have rivaled Biden on his worst day.
And it couldnt have built much confidence in the nations top leadership.
According to a C-SPAN archive of the news conference, Pelosi was asked about a bill backed by Sens. Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida, and Chris Murphy, Democrat of Connecticut, that punishes China for its manifold human rights abuses.

What she seemed to be trying to say was that a bill in the House from Rep. Jim McGovern, a Massachusetts Democrat, was better but seriously, thats a guess.
According to the C-SPAN archive, Pelosi first criticized former President Donald Trump as an autocrat with no concern for human rights.
I take second place to no one in the Congress in my criticism of Chinas human rights record, she said before taking her jab at Trump and his interactions with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
So far, so normal.
Then she went off the rails, apparently mixing in references to the EAGLE Act, a bill passed in the House aimed at China, with the names of current and former members of Congress and various stages of brain freeze.

Pelosi Is Confused About Who Is President Of The United States
Pelosi referred to President Trump as President Bush at the press conference and not for the first time.
A reporter tried to correct Pelosi on the matter, but she only snapped to what she had done when one of her aides passed her a note. Incidentally, Pelosi was also unsure of what day of the week it was.
For the record, George W. Bush is the guy from Texas with the well-exercised physique and the very calm, religious demeanor. Donald J. Trump is the orange haired, paunchy New Yorker who has a tendency to say and tweet alarming things. Bush has not been president of the United States for over eight years. Trump has been president for just a few months. Pelosi has hated both men with a passion that goes beyond politics.

Last month, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unveiled a radical drug pricing plan, H.R. 3, that could jeopardize the development of innovative treatments for some of the most challenging diseases and leave U.S. patients behind. Take for example, Alzheimers disease, a ruthless disease which devastates the minds of 5.7 million Americans and creates substantial burdens for families and caregivers.
According to a recent report, the number of Americans living with Alzheimers, or mild cognitive impairment due to Alzheimers, will likely rise to 15 million by 2060. As researchers continue to search for innovative treatments that modify the course of Alzheimers, proposals like Pelosis drug pricing plan represent a significant threat to progress. Pelosis plan would leave Alzheimers patients behind and jeopardize continued innovation in the space.
New treatments are urgently needed to treat, slow and prevent Alzheimers, but as one of the most complex diseases ever studied, it has proven to be a risky endeavor. Since 1998, there have been 146 attempts to bring new treatments to the market, and just four have been successful. Private sector economic incentives for developing an effective Alzheimers therapy are considerably less than those available for other diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease.

Kim owns Grubbs Pharmacy, a 150-year-old DC drugstore that delivers as many as 100 prescriptions a day to Capitol Hill, the outlet reports.
But sometimes politicians come in person to pick up their pills.

I just remember seeing him standing in line and almost feeling sorry for him one day hes a superstar, hes got his entourage and security detail, and the next day hes just by himself, hes picking up his prescription.
The Danger Of Diagnosing A Politician From A Distance
To be sure, no one, especially a pundit without a license to practice medicine, should diagnose someone from a distance.
Democrats did that a lot by suggesting that President Ronald Reagan had dementia when he was in office and then shouted ah ha! when he was diagnosed with Alzheimers years after leaving office. People on the right wondered whether Hillary Clinton had a brain disorder when she collapsed after a 9/11 ceremony during the campaign.
Everybody thinks that Bernie Sanders is crazy, but that is just self-evident.
Still, history is replete with politicians who hung on far longer than was sensible just out of love for power. Strom Thurmond likely should have retired 20 years before God called him home. Robert Byrd was in the same situation. Staying in office when ones capacities have started to diminish is not a good thing, neither for the politician or his or her constituents.
Perhaps it is time for Nancy Pelosi to retire and to hand the reins of power to someone else. Then she can enjoy the pleasures of home and grandchildren before she too must shuffle off this mortal coil and then find out what party, if any, God belongs to. Pelosi can rest assure that she has been annoying to Republicans for long enough that she will be remembered for many years to come.
